The Staffing Team Leader is expected to drive the staffing agenda for a designated area within the Shared Service Centre region. The role involves strategically managing the client base (scale/level/sophistication) through strong client partnering and communication; team management; driving innovation through the team and the client portfolio; ensuring the staffing related systems/tools/processes are being efficiently and effectively used as an integral part of daily operations; ensuring collective focus on the staffing KPIs and reporting to the SSO Stakeholders/Client portfolio/Business Leaders etc..on a regular and systematic basis.
 
Key Areas of accountability:  Professionally manage the relationships with the client base within the portfolio of vacancies across the region through enhanced scale/level and sophistication across the region (30%);  Support the Staffing team and Staffing KPIs to ensure delivery and over-achievement against the budgeted targets (30%); Team management accountabilites incorporating PMPs & Professional governance, grievance and development etc..with team members (20%); Innovation: actively contribute innovative solutions that touch all key components of the recruitment process; for instance building a sophisticated and intelligent attraction strategies for all vacancies across designated categories building efficiencies and effectiveness (10%); Harness the power of the Recruitment systems & technologies to ensure that the team are optimising technology in a proactive and positive way; critically for accurate reporting of staffing data and process consistency (10%).

Qualifications

 

A University level degree (or equavalent) coupled with a post graduate qualification are highly desireable though not essential; subjects relating to engineering or business/economics are desireable though not essential.

 

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a clear path of successful case studies within the recruitment domain in terms of scale, level of sophistication and complexity.

 

Expertise in recruiting inhouse within a manufacturing/engineering environment would be a distinct advantage but not essential. Expertise in recruiting within two of the relevant countries within the region is highly desireable.

 

Must have a passion for recruitment and be willing and able to travel extensively across the region.
