Buying Summary of role
To ensure the security and safety of staff, and visitors at our Head Office site in Enderby in Leicester.
Responsibilities
To carry out security checks and patrols to prevent both internal
and external theft and deal with suspected incidents of dishonesty or
breach of company procedures or rules.
To ensure head office security at all times and monitor vehicle and pedestrian movement whilst on site.
To observe potential security risks and takes positive steps to eliminate them.
To provide support and advice to senior management regarding any
security incident and the situation and use of security equipment.
To monitor fire and intruder and other security systems and
respond to activation’s in a prompt and professional manner to reduce
potential losses to the company, comply with health and safety
standards, and will liaise with management to reduce any security or
health and safety concerns.
To carry out additional duties when and where necessary within the
defined levels of responsibility and accountability for their role,
e.g. training other staff or security officers, assisting in
disciplinary matters and ensuring compliance with company procedure etc. Criteria:
Qualifications and Experience
Previous security experience would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
Candidates will need to have a flexible approach to work as they
will be required to participate in a rotating shift pattern
incorporating mornings, afternoons and night shifts.
Example positions that interested candidates could have worked in
include: Security Officer, Security Guard, Security Co-ordinator etc.
